The
HUMVEE offers exceptional speed, mobility and agility. HUMVEE
features full-time four-wheel drive, independent suspension,
steep approach and departure angles, 60 percent grade ability
and 16 inches of ground clearance. HUMVEE's are currently
in use by the U. S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force
throughout the United States and overseas.
The
HMMWV was very prominent in the U. S. military action in Panama
in 1989-90, more so in Operation Desert Storm in 1991, where
the 20,000 HMMWVs won high praise from the troops who used
them. Now this truly American designed military vehicle will
be tested once again in the battle to free Iraq.
